Tribute to Brian "Superman" Bitner

My good friend Brian Bitner passed away on September 18th, 2017 after an incredible journey with chondrosarcoma cancer.  There is no question about the kind of "Superman" Brian was.  He literally gave 100% at anything he put his mind to!  His inspiration and example will live on forever!  #superbit

This is a simple tribute to Brian.  A simple walnut wood frame for some laser etchings of their family picture.  Please support those listed in the description of the YouTube video.

Mason Built His Pinewood Derby Car

I grew up doing Cub Scouts as a kid.  I always found the Pinewood Derby to be one of the most fun activities!  Being able to spend time with my dad and build a car to race!  I don't remember how well my car worked when I was a kid but, I do remember the time together.

I can only hope that Mason will remember the time we spent together with him learning how to build his Pinewood Derby Car.

Please enjoy this video I made of him building his car!

Welcome

I feel like the first post should be something that welcomes you and helps you understand what we are about.

Let's start off with introductions.

We are the Schaefermeyers.  My name is Marc and my wife is Brittney.  We have 4 kids who keep us very busy.  I have a passion for Making things and learning how things work.  And when I say "things" I mean "anything".  I enjoy Tinkering with things by pulling them apart to learn how they were built, how they work, what changes I would make to them and how I would make them better.  Any parent can attest that children ask a lot of questions.  They want to know everything.  We as humans are inquisitive about our surroundings.  This is why we need to Share our findings.  People want to learn, they want to be taught.

This is why we started the company Make•Tinker•Share!  A place for us to sell the projects that we Make, display the things we Tinker with and Share all of this information with the World.
